We’ve got to let the writers of Castle know just how much we love Ryan and Esposito and ask them for more. It’s important that you stay positive and respectful.

So what can you do to help?

First and foremost, you’ll want to thank them for their amazing work on Castle, and then you can mention how much you love Ryan and Esposito. Are they your favorite characters? What makes them so different from other TV show characters? What do you like most about them? Be as forthcoming as you can!

You can make your own postcards and letters, or feel free to use some of ours. You can personalize them with your name, demographics, and a personal message. If you come up with any other campaign ideas that you’d like to share, be sure to write us and we’ll add it up to this page for others to participate as well.

Be polite, respectful, and positive! It is very important that we as the fans are not demanding anything from the writers. They work hard to produce this five-star show, and they deserve our respect. The best way to start is by thanking them for all their hard work. Then just be enthusiastic about how much you love Ryan and Esposito!

Be specific. Don’t just say “we want more Ryan/Esposito.” That could mean anything! Here are some ideas for things you suggest. Mention any and all that you want, and feel free to come up with more on your own!

Spread it out. We could all go on and on about Ryan and Esposito and how much we want to see more of them. Try to keep your focus to one thing at a time. You can send something out maybe once a week, tackling different campaign ideas or suggestions from the list above each time. The higher the volume of mail, the better! You don’t have to put all your energy into only one bit of mail.

Share your arts. Have you made graphics of Ryan and/or Esposito of which you are especially proud? Did you write a small scene that you’d like to see on the show? Share it with the writers! They’re very receptive of fan content. They would love to see what you’re up to. The fact that you’re spending your spare time on creative things related to Ryan and Esposito is a good sign! Let them know.

 

Our very first campaign idea! (we have a couple more in the works)

In an interview with the boys, Jon referred to Seamus as “Salt” and himself as “Pepper.” Jon obviously knew what he was talking about-Ryan and Esposito are the spice of Castle, and we want more. In that spirit, we’re going to ask the brilliant writers at Castle for more Salt and Peppa!

Feel free to use this acronym as well: SPICE (Salt/Peppa In Castle Episodes). So when we say we want more Spice, we really mean it!

Salt & Peppa: The best item on the menu! You can even include a menu from a local restaurant and circle the salt & pepper options.

Salt & Peppa: The most fun at the kitchen table! The centerpiece is great, but we’re all looking at the salt & pepper shakers! Do you have wacky ones at home? Or at least a picture of some? Include them-it shows the writers that Ryan and Esposito really stand out. Even at a fancy, well-set table, the Salt & Pepper command attention!
Salt & Peppa: Can’t get enough. Sure, the meal is fantastic as it is-but there’s no such thing as too much spice. More salt & pepper will bring the flavor to its fullest, tastiest potential!
